The ghost of a samurai from feudal Japan, the GEATHJERK have stirred him from his rest in the local museum. All the battle scars on his front are proof he never showed the enemy his back.

Wonder-Samurai can be found standing on top of the giant blue mushroom at the center of the main area of the jungle section of the level, near the unlit torches that trigger Mission 001.

On the left side of the Mission 008 platform is a wall that can be used to extend the Wonder-Liner directly upwards: doing so will form a Unite Chain up to a hidden platform where Wonder-Samurai's Wonderful Figure can be found inside a Unite Bomb Supply Crate.

- The arrows stuck to Wonder-Samurai are a reference to the Standing Death of Benkei, a loyal warrior in Japanese folklore who died standing upright with his body covered in arrows.
- Wonder-Samurai is one of the three undead Wonderful-Ones. The others are Wonder-Zombie and Wonder-Ghost.
- The banner on Wonder-Samurai's back, also known as a sashimono, bears the kanji "百 (hyaku)", meaning "one hundred".
